Custom Car Pete: 2012 Ford Explorer. I didn’t know where to start with this code but I aired the tires up and replaced the strut bearing mounts because they were noisy/clicking but this did not fix the problem. Next I replaced the LF outer tie rod end and did an alignment. I believe the alignment is what fixed it. The code never came back. After the two weeks the customer did get new tires. Also I will note that this vehicle did not have a angle sensor under the steering wheel. This vehicle does have an electric steering rack. It was 11-6-2023 when I fixed it and has been good since. Before I fixed it with an alignment the code would come back with in 10 days.
